What does this have to do with Lone Pine Farms and the haunted corn maze you might ask. “It's really all about the community and coming together” says Michelle Jensen, Manager at Lone Pine Farms. Graveyard Carz was created locally by Mark Worman and has received much attention since appearing on the front page of The Register Guard in September. “The local support has increased so much over the last month. The community really seems like they want to see us succeed and we are having a lot of fun meeting so many new people” says Shannon Miller who works in public relations for Graveyard Carz.
With some people approaching strictly out of curiosity and some approaching for the free candy there is no doubt that there is a large sense of community here. Car enthusiasts and those who aren't so enthusiastic about cars, are stopping and taking pictures of the cars and the friendly crew that accompanies them.
Last weekend Graveyard Carz passed out over 100 pounds of candy and over 1,250 mini fliers to visitors at Lone Pine Farms. They are preparing for another appearance this Friday, October 30th and expecting an even larger turnout.
Graveyard Carz is part car show, part detective show and 100% reality. It is currently under review by several large networks and will continue to gather local and online community support.
